How To Play
- **Match It Up:** Play alone or in pairs for four minutes. Match each item to one description, using each letter once. Check the key together. These are office-term descriptions, not workplace training. Tied top scores share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 8 possible.
- **Draw & Guess:** Cut and shuffle. Make two teams; alternate teams and rotate artists. Draw one unseen card per 60-second turn using blank paper. No letters, numbers, speech or gestures. Teammates must name both the main object and its unusual feature; equivalent wording counts. A pass ends the turn. Discard each card; no steals. Each team gets eight turns. Ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per guessed card; eight turns per team.
- **Charades:** Cut and shuffle the cards. Make two teams; alternate teams and rotate actors. Use one unseen card per 45-second turn. Mime without sounds, words or spelling. A matching action guessed by your own team scores one point. A pass ends the turn. Discard used cards; no steals. Give each team eight turns. Mime only, with no real equipment or lifting. Seated play is welcome. Ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per guessed card; eight turns per team.
- **Story Chain:** Cut and shuffle. Make two teams, each building its own fictional story. Alternate teams and rotate speakers for eight turns per team. Draw one new card per turn. After 10 seconds to think, add one or two sentences in 30 seconds. Include the printed event and connect it to your team's earlier story; the first turn starts the story. A neutral host awards one point when both conditions are met. Pass for zero. Ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per on-topic story turn; eight turns per team.
- **This or That:** Privately circle A or B for all eight rows before any reveal. Count votes row by row. Matching the larger group earns one point; an even split gives everyone one point. Answers stay fixed after the reveal begins. Highest score wins; ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per majority match; 8 possible. Even splits score for everyone.
- **Just Imagine:** Work in pairs for five minutes. Give one short, imaginative answer to each prompt. Each on-topic answer scores one point; funniest is not a scoring category. Share a favorite answer afterward. Use only fictional people and situations. Tied top scores share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per on-topic answer; 8 possible.
- **Categories:** Play alone or in pairs. Write one short answer per category in three minutes. Each fitting answer earns one point, plus one if no other entry has the same idea. Obvious synonyms count as the same idea. The host settles category fits. Any fitting idea may score; there is no fixed answer key. Ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per fitting answer, plus 1 if unmatched; 16 possible.
- **What Am I?:** Play alone or in pairs for 4 minutes. Solve each clue using its everyday office meaning. No actual records or equipment are needed. Check the answer key together. Award one point per correct answer; no speed bonus. Tied top scores share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 8 possible.
- **Word Scramble:** Play alone or in pairs for five minutes. Use every printed letter exactly once to form a word used in a credentialing office. This is a vocabulary puzzle, not workplace training. Read the key afterward. Award one point per correct word; accept another genuine office word with exactly the same letters. Highest score wins; ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 10 possible.
- **Crack the Code:** Play alone or in pairs for 5 minutes. Use the alphabet strip. Slashes mark spaces between words. Score complete messages; capitalization and spacing do not matter. Check the answer key together. Award one point per correct answer; no speed bonus. Tied top scores share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; up to 4 points per page and 8 in total. Add both page scores.
- **Forbidden Words:** Cut and shuffle. Make two teams; alternate six turns each and rotate clue givers. Draw one unseen card per 45-second turn. Describe the answer without saying any part of it, the three forbidden words or word variations. No spelling, rhymes or gestures. An opponent checks the card. A pass or forbidden clue ends the turn. Discard each card; no steals. Ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per guessed card; six turns per team.
- **Missing Vowels:** Play alone or in pairs for four minutes. Insert the missing vowels, using each clue. Y remains printed. These are vocabulary clues; no real records are needed. Read the key afterward and award one point per complete correct word. Highest score wins; ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 8 possible.
- **Odd One Out:** Play alone or in pairs for 3 minutes. Choose one outlier per row. Check both the answer and its category explanation when time is up. Check the answer key together. Award one point per correct answer; no speed bonus. Tied top scores share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 6 possible.
- **Sort It Out:** Play alone or in pairs for 3 minutes. Classify each entry using its ordinary office meaning: a person or group of people, or a document. Use the key to score. Check the answer key together. Award one point per correct answer; no speed bonus. Tied top scores share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 12 possible.
- **Missing Link:** Play alone or in pairs for five minutes. Put one word between the left and right words. Combine left + answer, then answer + right. Familiar open compounds count. The key gives both completed expressions. Accept any other familiar compound pair fitting both positions. Award one point per valid pair of compounds. Highest score wins; ties share the win. **Scoring:** 1 point per correct answer; 8 possible.
