What to Pack for Camping Trip Games
Prepare camping games before travelling by cutting the charades cards, printing the observation checklist and selecting any extra bundle pages. Pack each activity with its directions and supplies so you do not need a printer at the campsite.
Cut and store the charades set
Camping Charades contains 24 prewritten cards. Players act out a camping action silently while the group guesses. The download has separate US Letter and A4 files with three pages each.
Print, cut and shuffle the cards before leaving. The source recommends cardstock for cut-apart cards and a timer nearby if you choose timed rounds. Put the prepared set in a container or sleeve as a packing choice so loose pieces stay together.
Choose a suitable spot for acting where the group can see. The card game does not require performing the real camping action with equipment; it asks for silent acting.
Prepare the nature hunt as observation
Camping Nature Scavenger Hunt contains 20 checklist items. The directions tell participants to spot and check off items without disturbing them.
Print one checklist per player or team and provide pens or pencils. The A4 and US Letter files each have two pages. The instructions explicitly say to leave plants, rocks, nests and wildlife where they are.
As the trip organizer, choose the activity area and supervision arrangement appropriate to your group and location. Finishing every box should not override that plan. Compare observations afterward rather than requiring physical objects to be brought back.
Select bundle pages for another setting
Camping Games Bundle includes 25 activities across trivia, pictures, word games, prompts, puzzles and challenges. It supplies a host guide, game list and keys for objective games.
Review the actual list and select a few pages for the situations you expect, such as time at a table. The description does not list every game by name, so do not assume the standalone charades or nature checklist is included.
Keep answer pages in a host folder and the player copies in a separate stack. The bundle's four files are paper-size and layout choices for one collection.
Pack by activity, not by download
- Choose games that fit the people and setting.
- Print and cut any materials at home.
- Add the supplies listed for each selected round.
- Keep directions with their corresponding game.
- Store unused pages where they will stay dry.
A camping game kit should be easy to open and use, but it does not replace the trip's normal planning. Select activities that fit the outing and leave the rest of the download for another occasion.
