12 Christmas This-or-That Warm-Up Questions
Dinner is nearly ready, which somehow means another twenty minutes. Read one of these Christmas choices aloud and let everyone pick a side. There's no score, no wrong answer and no need to defend your love of dessert before dinner.
Pick a side while the potatoes finish

Let the explanation be the fun part
Ask one person why they chose the blanket fort or the snowball fight. Then give someone else a turn. You don't need to get round the whole table on every prompt; a lively tangent is doing the job already.
Invite guests to point, say their choice or pass. Younger guests can answer with a grown-up. If someone is arriving, carrying plates or settling a child, let them join at the next pair. Nobody needs to catch up.
Take it off the screen
The Print prompts button gives you the twelve pairs on one clean sheet, without the shop cards or your picks. You can also just read them straight off this page.
No cutting. Keep the sheet with the host, read one pair at a time and pause while people talk. Stop whenever dinner is ready. The twelfth question will survive until next year.
Want a printable for each guest?
The separate Christmas Would You Rather product includes 12 choice pairs in matching US Letter and A4 PDFs. Print one copy per guest and provide pens or pencils so everyone can circle choices before comparing answers. It's a separate download with its own prompts, so it won't repeat these twelve.
Questions and answers
Are these printable products included?
No. This warm-up is free. The Christmas Would You Rather printable is a separate download with its own 12 pairs, if you want a sheet for every guest.
Can I skip a question?
Yes, always. Skip any pair that falls flat, let guests pass, and stop the moment dinner is ready. Eight good pairs beat twelve forced ones.
