Gatsby Party Games Beyond a Trivia Quiz

Give a Gatsby party more variety by combining a selected word or picture activity with a shared group round. Keep historical trivia optional if some guests enjoy the Roaring Twenties style but know little about the period.

Choose contrasting activities from the bundle

Gatsby Roaring 20s Games Bundle contains 26 named activities. The list includes 1920s Slang Match, Jazz Age Charades, Prohibition Codebreaker, Art Deco Scavenger Hunt and Roaring Twenties Word Scramble.

Choose by the activity instructions as well as the title. A seated matching sheet, a hunt and an acting round demand different materials and room arrangements. Read the selected pages before deciding the order.

The bundle includes keys for objective games, 54-page full-size PDFs and 30-page two-per-page PDFs in US Letter and A4. Those files repeat the same collection in different layouts. Print only the chosen player pages and retain the relevant host material.

Use standalone trivia for one focused round

Gatsby Trivia contains 20 multiple-choice questions about Gatsby and the Roaring Twenties, with a printable answer key and host guide. Guests circle answers and the host awards one point per correct answer.

This can suit a table that wants one defined quiz rather than a whole menu. It is a separate alternative; do not assume its questions are the same as the bundle's 1920s Trivia activity.

As a hosting adaptation, mixed-knowledge pairs can discuss choices before submitting them. Explain that arrangement before scoring so everyone understands how the round works.

Close with a story that does not test recall

Gatsby Pass the Prize is a left/right circle game. The host supplies one wrapped small prize, reads the lines and follows the final direction to identify the winner.

The source recommends six to twelve players and supplies A4 and US Letter PDFs. Prepare a circle where people can hear and pass comfortably. A larger audience may need a different plan rather than an assumed extension of that recommendation.

The standalone story and the bundle's prize or left-right activities are separate purchase options. Their similar themes do not prove identical content.

Build the evening around the guests

  1. Choose one main activity and read its complete rules.
  2. Check whether it requires movement, writing or acting.
  3. Print a sample in the intended layout.
  4. Prepare host answers or the physical prize.
  5. Introduce the next round only after finishing the first.

Let costumes and conversation carry some of the evening. You do not need to turn every pause into a test of period knowledge for the party to feel themed.
