Girls Night In: Choose the Right Game Format

Choose a girls night game by the kind of participation your friends enjoy: printed puzzles, anonymous written responses or a two-team screen show. Pick one main format first, then prepare a quieter alternative if the group wants a change.

Use a printable menu when preferences differ

Girls Night Games Bundle contains 25 activities across trivia, puzzles, prompts, picture rounds, word activities and group challenges. It includes game-specific host directions and answer keys for objective games.

The files offer 36-page US Letter and A4 versions, plus 18-page two-per-page versions. These are alternate layouts of the same collection. Select the actual game pages after reviewing the menu; the description does not name every individual activity.

Print only the games you intend to use. Place player copies beside pens, with answer pages kept separately. This lets guests see the current activity without leafing through a whole bundle.

Understand what anonymous guessing involves

Girls Night Secret Confessions supplies 12 prompts. Each guest chooses a prompt and writes one anonymous answer; the host reads it aloud while the group guesses the author.

The listing explicitly allows passing. Explain that permission before distributing sheets. Anonymous writing is part of the game mechanic, not a promise that no one will identify the writer.

As a hosting choice, invite light answers and avoid pressing anyone to explain a guess. Read the prompts in advance so you can decide whether this style fits the people attending. The supplied PDFs are fixed rather than editable.

Put a host in charge of a screen show

Ladies Night Feud contains 100 rounds in two games: Girls' Night and Real Life. Two teams guess displayed survey-style answers, with automatic scoring and strikes.

A host still needs to read questions and operate the reveal controls. Choose the browser version on a supported computer, or use the macro-enabled PowerPoint files in desktop PowerPoint for Windows. Test the display before guests arrive.

The screen format can become the shared focus of the evening. Leave conversation and refreshments outside a round so players can hear the question.

Decide before setting the table

  1. Ask yourself whether guests want writing, guessing or team turns.
  2. Preview the selected prompts or questions.
  3. Prepare the needed papers or screen setup.
  4. Explain passing and any scoring.
  5. Finish one game before offering another.

You do not need all three products to host the evening. They solve different planning needs, so buy the format that fits your group rather than treating every option as part of a required package.
