Free Christmas Bingo Card Generator

You need Christmas bingo cards for the whole table, and photocopying one card would give everyone the same win. Generate a free set here using 72 festive words, then print the cards and a caller list. Pick a five-by-five grid with a free center or a smaller four-by-four card without one. The words cover decorations, winter clothes and Christmas food, so you can explain a call without becoming a quizmaster.

Give the printer one test sheet

Enter a short card title and the number of cards you need, then generate your set. Check the title before printing; a long family nickname can eat the space meant for the words. The print layout places two cards on a US Letter or A4 sheet.

Match the paper setting to the paper in your home printer. Preview one sheet, check that the outer grid lines are visible, and print a test before starting a large batch. Use plain white paper and cut the sheet between the two cards. Take a spare copy of the caller list to the table.

Keep the seed link if you want to generate the same set again. Save a PDF through your print dialog before the party if you need a backup you can open without rebuilding anything.

Call slowly enough for the quiet end of the table

Announce the winning pattern before calling: one row, column or diagonal makes a clear first round. Mark the center FREE square on five-by-five cards. Four-by-four cards have no free square.

  • Give every player a card and a pencil or a bowl of removable markers.
  • Call a word, repeat it, and wait while people look.
  • Keep the called history visible to the caller or tick your printed list.
  • Check every word in a claimed line against the calls before awarding a prize.

If you're using the screen caller, keep one person in charge of the next-word button. Two enthusiastic callers can turn a pleasant round into an argument about whether anyone said "Cocoa."

Adjust the round for children or adults

These are reading cards. For younger children, choose the smaller grid and pair each child with someone who can read the words aloud. Explain unfamiliar items before starting. Don't turn finding a square into a spelling test.

For adults, make the first round a single line and agree on a different pattern for the next. A full card needs more calls, so save it for a group that wants to linger. Clear every marker and restart the calling pool between rounds.

Set out small, equal prizes such as wrapped treats or stationery. Have a plan for shared wins, and check food restrictions before making sweets the only reward. A shared cheer works when the prize budget is zero.

Questions and answers

Are these word cards or picture bingo cards?

The free generator makes word cards. Pair younger children with a reader, or choose the separate paid picture bingo set if you want illustrated player cards and picture calls.

How do I print another copy of the same set?

Keep the generated seed link and use the same title, grid size and number of cards when regenerating. Save a print-to-PDF copy too if you want an exact ready-to-print backup.

What if two people call bingo together?

Check both patterns against the called words. Share the win and offer equal prizes, or announce a shared-prize rule before the first call so nobody has to bargain at the table.
