Print one puzzle that everyone can check
Generate once, print a test page, and check that every edge of the grid is visible. Match your paper size in the print dialog and leave Pages per Sheet at 1 for a readable grid. Print the answer key from that same puzzle before generating another one. A new grid needs its own key.
For a shared puzzle, make all copies from the same generated grid. If you'd rather give people different puzzles, keep each key with its matching sheet. A little pencil note on the back saves you from trying to check six different grids against one key.
Make the quiet version easy to join
Leave the timer off and invite people to find a few words or finish the whole page. A pair can share one sheet and trade the pen after each find. No leaderboard needed. For a mixed-department lunch, let people choose their own puzzle rather than testing everyone on another team's vocabulary.

Start with Easy, where words run across and down in a 12 by 12 grid. Hard uses a 15 by 15 grid and eight directions, including backwards, so offer it as a take-away option.
